As we continue to highlight the personalities of the Jerusalem conference industry, today, we have the honor of hosting Mr. Eyal Halevy.
Mr. Levy is the Co-Managing Director of The Paragon Group. Eyal joined the company as a partner, bringing extensive experience in the international arena. Eyal’s experience helped transform Dan Knassim into what it is today – the international Paragon Group.
What makes Jerusalem such a unique conference destination?
First and foremost, Jerusalem is an amazing city, which never ceases to develop and impress. Jerusalem is a globally recognized destination for incoming tourism. Its historical and religious significance and strong cultural aspects draw visitors from all over the world. As a city, Jerusalem is considered a top tourist destination alongside Rome, Paris, London and New York.
The city’s vibrant nightlife, its culture, its food scene, and accessibility, are constantly experiencing a renaissance. Jerusalem is unique in its ability to merge the ancient and the new, old with modern, contemporary with antique. To the best of my knowledge, there is no other city that excels at this like Jerusalem.
Which conferences have been hosted, or are planned by you? In other words, which conference came to Jerusalem because of your professional input?
The International Astronautical Conference in 2015, which brought 3,000 participants from all over the world to Jerusalem. This impressive conference received international recognition. Our company’s experience played an integral role in organizing such an event. Bringing this event to Jerusalem required significant collaboration with players from all over the world. Leveraging our international partners certainly impacted the final decision to bring such an internationally-acclaimed event to Jerusalem.
Which international associations is the Paragon Group affiliated with?
Paragon Group is an accredited member of ICCA, the overarching body for PCO’s, conference organizers, and suppliers. We are also members of SAACI .
What upcoming conferences, are taking place in Jerusalem, over the next 5 years, because of your involvement?
In 2018, we’re proud to be hosting the 15th MSOA Conference, The Mediterranean Society of Otology and Audiology, in Jerusalem, along with several other conferences.
