The 2018 OurCrowd Global Investor Summit hosted in Jerusalem, brought together global corporations, including GE, Honda, DuPont, Samsung, entrepreneurs, industry decision makers, journalists and representatives from over 90 countries, with a total attendance of over 10,000 people.
Following a record year of the Israeli tech ecosystem, with startups and companies raising over $5 billion in investments, much of which is associated to the efforts of Jerusalem based OurCrowd Global Summit, the global equity crowdfunding platform’s CEO and founder Jon Medved told the audience at the opening plenary of the fourth annual OurCrowd Global Investor Summit in Jerusalem earlier this month.

This year’s summit was called, The Innovation Revolution included many opportunities for networking, breakout sessions, as well as over 90 exhibitions filled the Jerusalem Israel Convention Center. During the day, participants were able to learn from Israel’s startup ecosystem and hear accounts of how various innovations are changing the world.

After a day of lectures, sessions, and networking, the crowd packed the streets of Jerusalem for a series of after parties including ShukTek, which took place in Jerusalem’s Mahane Yehuda Market. This event, hosted by the Jerusalem Development Authority, and the Ministry of Jerusalem and Heritage, allowed participants to enjoy local craft beer and hear some first-hand from some of the country’s most impressive startup CEOs.
